I am a former High School jock who dabbled in College Baseball and then became a Certified Public Accountant. Years of the weight room and doing 1 man Crossfit workouts before they were “cool” led me to finally getting on a bike. Since then (2009) my life has been on fast forward. I’ve lived in about 5 different places from Portland, OR to Boston, MA and gone from a 10:54 middle of the pack Age Grouper to a 8:42 Professional Ironman Triathlete. I’ve raced twice in Kona, worked at two different bike shops and met countless amazing people who I would have never crossed paths with (including my Wife!). I’ve gone from being a Public Accountant, to a Professional Triathlete, to a rabid Cyclist who loves to race on the road and of course gravel!

“To each there comes in their lifetime a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique to them and fitted to their talents.  What a tragedy if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for that which could have been their finest hour.” ~Winston S. Churchill
